On Sunday, March 2, 2008, Spay/Panama sterilized 32 animals in San Felipe, bringing the total animals sterilized in Calle 7a to 111; in addition to approximately 700 sterilizations performed since 2003 in this area.  There are still a lot of animals that need to be done, especially at the Terraplen.  In September 2007 a grant application was submitted to the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust for San Felipe and Las Mañanitas sterilization projects and on February 28, 2008, notification was received that the grant was approved for $2,000.  The continuation of this project has been made possible with the support of the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust.  El domingo, 2 de marzo de 2008, Spay/Panamá esterilizó 32 animales en San Felipe, trayendo el total de animales esterilizados en Calle 7a a 111; en adición a los 700 esterilizaciones que se han hecho desde 2003 en esta área.  Todavía queda mucho por hacer, especialmente por el área del Terraplen.  En Septiembre 2007 se solicitó un subsidio para el proyecto de esterilizaciones en San Felipe y Las Mañanitas y el 28 de febrero de 2008, recibimos notificación que la solicitud fue aprobada por $2,000.  La continuación de este proyecto se hará posible con el apoyo del Marchig Animal Welfare Trust.
