No
con mucha frecuencia nos encontramos con companias que estan dispuestas
a ayudar una comunidad y mejorar la calidad de vida de los
animales. Y luego tenemos el caso de Tropic Star Resort en Puerto
Pinas, Darien. La compania se encargó del transporte,
hospedaje,
y alojamiento; cubrio el costo de los veterinarios, y
contribuyó parcialmente el costo de los medicamentos para apoyar
la comunidad y controlar la poblacion
canina. El trabajo fue fluido gracias a los guardabosques
Ivan Tunon y Jose Cortez. El corregidor del area pudo certificar
que el 90% de la poblacion canina fue esterilizada. Se
esterilizaron y vacunaron 189 animales. Esta fue sin duda una de
nuestras
campañas mas
exitosas.
Very seldom we find companies that are willing to help the community and improve the welfare of the animals. We then have the case of Tropic Star Resort in Pinas Bay, Darien. The company took care of the transportation, lodging, and meals, and paid the vet fees, and partially contributed for the surgical and medical items to assist the community and control the number of dogs. The wokflow was smooth thanks to the park rangers Ivan Tunon and Jose Cortez. The corregidor of the area certified that 90% of the dog population was sterilized. 189 animals were sterilized and vaccinated.
