INTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMALS' DAY


 Organizations around the world come together on the third Saturday of August to raise awareness about the pet overpopulation epidemic.

For the second year, the Republic of Panama through Spay/Panama joined the event on August 20, 2011, to observe the International Homeless Animals' Day introduced in 1992 by the International Society for Animals Rights (ISAR).



25 dogs and 44 cats were sterilized....



...dewormed, ears cleaned, sprayed against fleas and ticks... 




...injected with vitamins and dogs got the rabies vaccine
