A pesar de contar con el apoyo del Ministerio de Salud, el alcalde y la Iglesia Católica, se tiene que trabajar arduamente para capturar los animales e ir casa por casa porque mucha gente no entiende la importancia de la esterilización de las mascotas.


Even though the Health Ministry, the mayor and the Catholic Church are backing the sterilization campaign, a lot of work involves capturing the animals and visiting house by house because a lot of people do not understand the importance of sterilizing their pets.


Se regresó el 8-9 de marzo de 2008 a Portobelo y se capturaron y esterilizaron 44 animales para un total de 369 animales esterilizados en el área. 

On March 8-9, 2008, a third blitz was made in Portobello; 44 animals were captured and sterilized; bringing the total number of animals sterilized in the area to 369.


Sin embargo, después de mucha frustración y sudor, que gran satisfacción se siente por haber hecho una diferencia en la vida de los guardianes y los animales.
